It's Over!!!

YES.....!!! Exam's over!! Yatta! Hooray!!! WooHoo!!!

And what a better way to celebrate it than sleep! (No lar~ in the end went to Midvalley n lepak + celebrate Sean (my coursemate's) birthday...)

After our "great" escapade... (got cheated by eating in this Jap restaurant called Oh Sushi next to Starbucks...cost us a bomb!! Dah la service + food lousy! Pay fer nothin'! Sueh la~ Chillis tutup...)

Oh~ sorry... No photos as no one remembered to bring their cams. Haha! Woi! We just finished our Jurisprudence paper la! What more can you ask for?? Nobody actually slept at all d nite b4!

So everybody was comatosed that nite (real early!) till d next day! I slept at 10pm til 9.30 am d next day! Dats not my normal schedule! Hahaha! I'm a Batman~

Nyways, went to KLCC today... Wanted to go to Canaanland to get my CDs and books. Lepak in Kinokuniya oso....But then i "pokai"...No $$ to buy anything much... Spent everything shopping on clothes...Hahaha! I'm trying to reinvent my wardrobe. Any idea anyone?

Now, the next thing in my "to do" list... Finish up my thesis proposals and not to mention prep for ALSA's International Conference next January!! High expectation, high pressure, high everything! I'm still in d after exam mode so.... a bit lethargic. Hope all my energy would come back real soon! Meeting tomorrow...Huhu...

And I really (desperately) wanna go back to Kuantan!!! Bernard's back. So dat means.... The people of Shalom United are in Kuantan!! Except me.... *Sob* *Sob*

Sure all my best buddies are busy mamaking now without even missing me...Ceh~ Tak guna... Babi!! (Dats actually our special endearment for each other...hahaha! You can only use it on them...)

Those Were the Days....

Those were the days when you're still playing with all these toys... haha! And lil' nephew's terrorising d whole house trying to run everybody down with his "car/walker"! Forever trying to run my toes off my feet! And he's acquired a new skill... punching people and his youngest aunty always become the victim... Not easy being the youngest in the family. Even a baby will bully you...




But I do miss the days when I was a babe. No worries, can sleep like mad, great complexion, smooth skin...hahaha! Now I'm jealous of a baby. But a human's gotta grow. That's life. Not an easy journey but someone (no...rather everyone!)'s gotta walk this old, trodden and the dusty dirt road of life.




Enjoy your "child-like-ness" while you can. It's better than therapy. Go play or eat something you haven't ate for ages.

My First Salad

The first time ever I tossed my very own salad... (d tomatoes tasted horrible! *sour*)

Diet food sucks! tasteless....

I was viewing Bern's blog and wow...!

He also posted an MJ video called "Heal the World".

And both videos me and Bern posted moved me to tears.

It surely can't be coincidental.

Is God trying to tell me something?

Is this why I am placed by God in a law school?

Is this some kind of message God has put in my heart?

Compassion for mankind?

Compassion for the world?

Is this one of my callings in life?

To make a change and heal this broken and hurting world?

Will I be a voice for the voiceless?

Will I be present for those who are in need?

Will I be a Christian who's ready to pick up my own cross and follow Jesus?

Will I be....?

And I pray that I will be one.

Even if it's just for something small.

I want to be The One.

To make a change in my world.

To heal the world.

Be it your own struggles in life (e.g. addiction and unforgiveness....)

You might say, "Hey, it's good you know...the song and all. But I just can't do it!".

If you've already given up...if you don't even take the first step of faith out of the sorry state you are in... If you still remain as who you are and not improve...

That's what I call failure.

Be brave.

There are countless of other peoples out there who are also fighting the same struggle...or maybe worse struggles than you are going through. Know that you are not alone in walking this long and tough journey....

And even if men fail you, know that God is still by your side.

You may not be able to see Him, to touch Him. But His presence is always there. It's only that our hearts are so hardened that we can't feel anymore.

Failure is when you have stop trying, not failure itself.

My dear cousin's currently chowing down this great bowl of salted-fish-mihun-soup from the popular Pudu shop that sells the greatest salted-fish-mihun-soup on planet Earth!

Problem is....I'm fasting now....huhu!

Another great temptation rite in front of my eyes (not to mention nose as well....)

Don't care!! I'm gonna tapau McD's to reward myself after my fast & prayer...Hahaha...Just like wat Joseph Raj said in TSF, it's during times when you're fasting that you'll start to "mengidam"/crave for food that you never crave for all this while....hahaha!! Aper nie??!

I'll make it...by the grace of God! And I know what I'm doing now it's not some sort of competition of trying to impress people with my ability of not to eat for several days and try to break David Blaine's 40 days and nites without food!!

I'm not trying to prove anything here....

But I'm I am making my point here that I will honour my God by going through this time of fast & prayer week, even if it's just 1 meal per day... (You guys know how much I love eating!! 1 meal oso very tempting dy...not to mention now exam period summore!!)

And I know that God will honour me and grant me favour too!
